    The Work Only On My Keywords Sales Pitch

    Like many other SEO agencies, I was very much focused on search terms only, I would research exactly what potential customers would type into the Google search box when looking for the particular services or products of a client. However unlike many other agencies I rarely worked on hundreds of keywords at once. My¬† process was to first focus on the easiest 5 as a quick win to get some traffic, then start adding more and more until the real money making terms kicked in.     What’s Going On With These Images

    There are very clear instructions on how to deals with images, within Google’s guidelines but for a few years now I have struggled with their implementation in some cases. The core idea is this. You name your image concisely, then give a more detailed description with the alt tags. So if your image was of a black dog play in the field. You may name the image “dog.jpg” and include alt tags “black dog playing” as an example. (more…)

    The Demise Of Authorship

    Google’s attempt to link content with a specific person in order to show credibility and authority has been abandoned after only a few years. Authorship was where you could assign your written content to you Google plus profile, firstly to state “this belongs to me” and secondly where you can associate what was found on the internet with a specialist and thirdly the author would have his/her picture shown within search results.
